Message from the President
Hi Everyone,
I would like to say "Thank You" to everyone who attended the Strawberry Park Annual National Night Out event on August 5th 2008. We had a great turn out. We were joined by Easterbrook Neighborhood Association, San Jose PD, San Jose FD, Councilman Pete Constant, Pauline from Mike Honda's Office, Brandon the Mayors aid and many many families. The kids played games and raced in sack races and won prizes. The adults mingled and got to know each other, played cards, chess, checkers, and bingo. It was just what our community needed.
Here is a great big Thank you to the committee chair Mr. Ed Brooks and the people who help pull this off. It took a lot of planning and effort to BBQ and serve 470 attendees and to set up and tear down equipment to make this all possible.
